Great costume - Nostalgic for this 90s kid
"This is a great costume! I got so many compliments from other women when I wore it who loved Samantha when they were growing up. It is good quality and thicker than I expected. The only thing I would change is making the belt more adjustable. I am a size 16, ordered the XL which fits 16-18 and the belt was too loose. Other than that, I have no complaints!"

Disappointing at best
"I mean it’s a Halloween costume. The material is slightly better than your standard Halloween costume material but not by much. The belt is fraying right out of the package so that’s disappointing especially given the cost. I’m unfortunately not surprised due to how American Girl has been operating but pre-Mattel Pleasant Company/ American Girl would be embarrassed to have the brand’s name attached to this quality. What’s sad is I know there are collectors who would pay a higher price if it meant better quality."
