"I ordered this costume for Halloween at the request of my granddaughters and was very surprised at the quality of both the costume and the wig. The fit was perfect and the fabric was much nicer than I expected. It could have come from American Girl."

"This is a great costume! I got so many compliments from other women when I wore it who loved Samantha when they were growing up. It is good quality and thicker than I expected. The only thing I would change is making the belt more adjustable. I am a size 16, ordered the XL which fits 16-18 and the belt was too loose. Other than that, I have no complaints!"

"I mean it’s a Halloween costume. The material is slightly better than your standard Halloween costume material but not by much. The belt is fraying right out of the package so that’s disappointing especially given the cost. I’m unfortunately not surprised due to how American Girl has been operating but pre-Mattel Pleasant Company/ American Girl would be embarrassed to have the brand’s name attached to this quality. What’s sad is I know there are collectors who would pay a higher price if it meant better quality."
